Mary Silveira Martin, 93, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2004 in West 
Sacramento, CA. She was born May 13, 1911 in Redwood City, CA. Mrs. Martin 
lived in the Stockton and Manteca area through 1967. Member of St. Elizabeth 
Church, Our Lady of Fatima, S.P.H.S.S. & Luso American.
Loving wife of the late William Sousa Martin. Beloved mother of William Sousa 
Martin, Jr. (wife Dixie), Mary Jean Fees (husband Robert), Anthony S. Martin 
(wife Dorothy), Delphina Grant (husband Paul) and Gloria Martin Simas (husband 
Joseph). Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 3 great-
great-grandchildren.
Friends are welcome for visitation Wednesday, July 14, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 
5:00 p.m. at the George Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, Riverside Blvd. and Second 
Avenue, Sacramento, CA, followed by the Rosary and Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at St. 
Elizabeth Church, 1817 12th Street, Sacramento. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
be offered at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Church. Private Entombment 
at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Stockton, CA.
