Dennis Kelly 
June 28, 1948 - July 13, 2004



Dennis Kelly, son of the late Lester and Dorothy Kelly, was a lifelong native 
of Stockton, California and died in a 
local hospital 
on Tuesday, 
July 13, 2004 
at the age of 56. 
Dennis is survived by his wife Amie Kelly; daughter, Kimberley Kelly of 
Connecticut and sons, Sean Kelly of Santa Monica and Justin Kelly of Stockton. 
Dennis also leaves behind 
his grandchildren, Lindsay Kelly, Kelvin Meyer, and Sascha Meyer. Dennis will 
also be missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Mr. Kelly 
retired from the Stockton Police department as a sergeant after 27 years of 
service, and continued working for the department after his retirement 
on a consulting basis. In his retirement, Dennis enjoyed world travel, San 
Francisco Giants baseball games, and amateur photography. Dennis was an active 
member of the Horizon Christian Fellowship Church, a volunteer at the Pregnancy 
Help Center and was a member of the South Stockton 
Lions Club. 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at 
Horizon Christian Fellowship Church located 4140 E. Hammer Lane followed by 
committal at Park View Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, July 16, 2004 
from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at DeYoung Funeral Chapel, 601 N. California 
St., Stockton.
