Winnie Dowd, 85, died on July 9, 2004. She was a Stockton resident for 74 
years. She retired from State Employment Development Department, Farm Labor 
Services after 26 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. 
She is survived by brother, James Harrison of Princeton, CA; daughter Lauretta 
Bertucci; and husband Michael of Santa Rosa; son, Wayne Dowd and daughter, 
Francene Commons and husband Derryl of Stockton; also survived by 7 
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded 
in death by daughter, Marilyn Fredrickson of Cottonwood, CA. 
No services will be held per her 
request. 
Donations may by made to any 
local food mission of choice.
