Loren M. Bounds 
March 17, 1915 - July 15, 2004



Loren M. Bounds, 89, passed away in Stockton on Thursday, July 15, 2004. He was 
born in Hanford, CA on March 17, 1915. He lived in Stockton for 65 years. Loren 
was a self-employed upholster for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his 
first wife of 10 years, George Richardson. His second wife, Alice R. Bounds, of 
53 years, also preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by by his 
brother Dave Bounds and sister Edna Preston.
He is survived by his children, Lucille M. Sorensen of Temple, Texas and 
Loretta L. Whipple of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, sister, Clifton Greer of Muncie, 
Indiana. Also surviving are Loren's nieces and nephews, Donna Boyle, Bob 
Newell, Bill Newell, Susie Green, Barbara Stock and Sally Cardiff; 5 
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 
There will be a Funeral Service on Wednesday July 21, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. The 
service will take place at the Evergreen Chapel, Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy. 
99 and E. Harney Lane, Lodi, CA. There will be visitation on Tuesday, July 20, 
2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The visitation will be held at Cherokee 
Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA. Cherokee Memorial Funeral 
Home in charge of arrangements.
