Robertson, Sr. Dec. 7, 1929 - July 15, 2004 William G. Robertson, Sr. (Bill) (Tiger), passed away peacefully at his home in Tracy on Thursday, July 15, 2004. He was born in French Camp on December 7, 1929, he was 74 years old. Bill was retired after 32 years from San Joaquin General Hospital and was a Veteran in the Army of the Korean War. He was also a talented musician and played with the Merced Blue Notes and several other local bands. He loved baseball and coached at Oak Park Little League, Tracy Babe Ruth, and Tracy American Legion. Bill also coached the girls and boys in basketball at Delta Island School. He was a member of the Stockton Softball Hall of Fame and the National Softball Umpire's Hall of Fame for umpiring 3 national tournaments. His loving wife of 33 years, Carla, survives him. Sons and daughters-in-law, Valet and Frances Terry of Placerville, Maurice and Ivy Robertson of El Dorado Hills, and William G. and Louisa Robertson of Stockton; daughters and sons-in-law Denice and Robert Kuklo of Tracy, Deanna and Forrest Edwards of Wilsonville, OR and son Stacey Robertson of Tracy. Bill was preceded in death by daughter Diane McDonnell. He is also survived by sisters Barbara Hudson of Sacramento, Ann Cannon and Jackie Robertson of Stockton, Ardis Wade of Atwater, Marietta Whitaker of Las Vegas and Carol Wallace of Winton. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. Private Inurnment at Parkview Cemetery.
