PFC Jesse Jack Martinez 
Nov. 3, 1983 - July 14, 2004

Jesse Jack Martinez, 20 of Tracy, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2004 in 
Telafar, Iraq. Jesse was born on November 3, 1983 
in Amberg, West Germany. Jesse was a resident of Tracy for 11 years and in 
active service with the U.S. Army Infantry for 1 year and 3 months. Jesse was 
an avid fan of the Oakland A's and Raiders. He loved helping people and 
spending time with friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Manuel R. Martinez Jr. of Modesto and Jan 
Martinez of Tracy; a sister, Teresa Martinez of Tracy and a brother, Manuel R. 
Martinez, III of Tracy. 
Visitation: Wednesday, July 21, 12 to 7:30 p.m. at Mortuary. 
Funeral Service: Thursday, July 22, 2004, 10 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel. 
Interment at Tracy Public Cemetery. An account will be set up at Washington 
Mutual Bank in Jesse's name to be forwarded on to the A's and Raiders special 
sports camps for underprivileged children.
