Mary Silveira Roza Pacheco 
September 29, 1915 - July 14, 2004

Mary Silveira Roza Pacheco, 88, of Tracy died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at her 
home. Mrs. Pacheco a native of the Azores was born September 29, 1915. She 
lived in Tracy 62 years and previously lived in Brentwood. 
She was a dairy farmer for 40 years. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic 
Church, IPFES, SES and St. Anthony's 
Society. She enjoyed gardening, the Oakland A's and travel, especially to 
Monterey, Santa Cruz and Reno. 
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Focha-Porteous and son-in-law, Robert 
Porteous, of Escalon; brothers, Joe Roza of 
Tracy and Ton Roza of Brent- wood; sister, Helen Risso of Stockton; and her 
caregiver, Lena Henry of Tracy. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Manuel S. Pacheco and one sister, Minnie Pacheco. 
A Vigil was held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2004. A Mass was held at 
10:30 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2004 at St. Bernard's 
Catholic Church. Burial was at the Tracy Public Cemetery. 
Remembrances may be made to St. Bernard's Catholic Church Building Fund, 163 W. 
Eaton Ave., Tracy, CA 95376.
