Patricia Loretta Casteel 

Nov. 4, 1940 - July 22, 2004



Patricia Loretta Casteel, 63 years of Lathrop, passed away on July 22, 2004 in 
a local hospital. She was born in Onyx, CA on November 4, 1940 where she was 
reared. She was married to Roy Casteel on November 5, 1962, and they made their 
home in Tracy until 1978 when they moved to Lathrop. Mrs. Casteel enjoyed 
music, drawing and sketching with pencil and shopping.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Casteel of Lathrop; children, Rita Thompson 
of Washinginton, Janice Ambriz of Tracy, Sonny Casteel of Wesley, Arnold 
Casteel of Stockton, and Vince Casteel of Lathrop; sisters, Angie Tungate of 
Vernalis and Millie Somera of Lathrop; and 23 grandchildren and 9 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m., in the 
Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy. 99 & Harney Lane in Lodi, 
followed by the committal service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 
from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial 
Way, Lodi.
