Rufino Riberal Riego, Sr. 
June 15, 1912 - July 22, 2004

Rufino Riego, Sr., 92, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2004. Rufino was born 
June 15, 1912 in he Philippines. Rufino was a farm laborer for over 50 years. 
He served in the army during WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife Lilly 
Riego.
Beloved father of Allen Riego, Rufino Reigo, Jr., and Teresa Contreras, all of 
Stockton, Patsy Sharp of Bowie, MD, Diana Sisneroz of Moss Beach, and Carol 
Turrentine of San Leandro. Brother of Mariano Riberal of P.I. Grandfather of 
Michelle Rapier, Martin & John Sisneroz, Alicia & Michelle Amador, Joanna, 
Leslie & Anthony Riego, Jaime & Kyle Turrentine and Ashley Sharp. Great-
grandfather of Jace & Colin Sisneroz.
A Rosary will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial 
Chapel, 601 N. California St. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 28, 
2004 at 9:30 a.m. at St. George's Catholic Church. 120 W. 5th St. Visitation: 
Sunday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 26, from 9:00 a.m. 
to 7:00 p.m., and Tuesday, July 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., all at the 
Mortuary. Committal will be held at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Stockton, 
CA.
