Rae Yvonne Medel 

August 21, 1931 - June 28, 2004

Rae Yvonne Medel, 72, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital early Monday, June 
28, 2004 from a stroke. Born 
August 21, 1931 in Olivet, MD., Rae worked for Stockton Unified School District 
for 25 years as an Executive 
Assistant. Rae was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Paul Medel Sr. She 
is survived by 5 children, Raymond Paul Medel Jr. and wife Isabel of Stockton, 
Paul Raymond Medel and wife Brenda of Idaho, Delma Rae Kearns and husband Tim 
of Tenn., Yvonne Soledad Migliori and husband Richard of Stockton, and Rae 
Yvonne Jones and husband Wayne of Stockton. She was the loving sister of 
Linwood Chandler Thomas and wife Doreen of isconsin. Rae was the devoted 
grandmother of Stephanie, Catherine, Paul, Taira, Mirindi, Sheila, Jamie, 
Andrea and Sabrina. Rae was a member of St. Joseph's Auxiliary and Quail Lakes 
Baptist Church. Rae was a devoted great-grandmother of 1. She is survived by 
numerous nieces and nephews. 
Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Service Friday, July 2, 2004 
at 9:00 a.m. at Quail Lakes Baptist Church, 1904 Quail Lakes Drive, Stockton, 
CA. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. 
at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street. Committal: San Joaquin 
Cemetery.
