Doris Marjorie (Mar) Yien, 74, passed away in Sacramento, CA, Thursday, July 
22, 2004. She was born in Fresno, CA on July 3, 1930. Doris grew up in 
Stockton, CA and resided in Sacramento, CA for the past 49 years. Doris retired 
as a Supervisor with the Department of Health Services, where she worked for 
over 37 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Beloved wife of the late Johnnie Yien. The loving mother of Cathleen Leong and 
Steven Yien (Sandra and daughters, Fallon and Shaelah). Sister of Mary Fong 
(Ralph), Elizabeth Lew (the late Frank Lew), Dorothy Kido (Frank), Alice Chew 
(Hanford), Judy Nishimoto (George), Jack Mar (Sim), Bob Mar (Helen), the late 
Stephen Mar (Kim) and the late Anna Lim (the late Tommy Lim). Loving 
grandmother of Jennifer and Justin Leong.
Friends are welcome for visitation, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2004 
with the Wake beginning at 7:00 p.m. and are also invited to attend the Funeral 
Service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, all at the George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 
Riverside Boulevard and Second Avenue, Sacramento, CA. Interment at East Lawn 
Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the charity of your choice.
