Ella Bender Hudson 
April 27, 1916 - July 26, 2004



Ella Bender Hudson, 88, passed away in Stockton on Monday, July 26, 2004 in a 
local hospital. She was born and raised on a farm in Zeeland, North Dakota. She 
was preceded in death by her first husband, Art Sayler and her last husband 
T.G. Hudson of Clovis, N.M. Mrs. Hudson moved to Stockton in 2002 and lived at 
Camlu Assisted Living. 
She is survived by her daughter, Vangie Bender of Stockton; four grandchildren, 
Debra Caldwell and Dan Ottenbacher of Portland, Oregon, Jodi Santoyo and Scott 
Bender of Stockton, California and four great-grandchildren and one great-
grandchild. She is also survived by two brothers, Rueben Bender of Ipswich, 
S.D. and Jake Bender of Dubuque, Iowa; one sister, La Rue Opp of Aberdeen, S.D. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Fredrika Bender; five 
brothers and one sister. 
A private Graveside Service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi. 
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at 
the DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, CA 95219. 
Committal: Cherokee Memorial Park.
