Grace Segarini

Dec. 18, 1915 - July 27, 2004

Grace Segarini entered into eternal life on July 27, 2004 after a lengthy 
illness. She passed away at the Convalescent Hospital with her family at her 
side. Grace was born December 18, 1915. Her whole life centered around being a 
loving wife and mother. She took tremendous pride in her family, home and 
garden. Her parents, Gusepi and Conchetta Prestigiovanni, immigrated to America 
from Italy. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri as well as some of her late 
siblings. She journeyed to Stockton at an early age where she spent the rest of 
her life. 
Her affiliation included the Italian Catholic Federation, the Druids, I.A.C. 
and St. Gertrude's Church; where she was very active. She will be remembered 
most for her love of life and cooking excellent Italian food for her family and 
friends. A special Thank You to health care providers Debbie Mello, Josephine 
Ambry and the staff at Wagner Heights 
Convalescent Station #3.
She was the loving wife of the late George Segarini for 40 years, wife of the 
late Albert Dal Porto and 
devoted friend of the late John Liel. Survived by sons George Segarini 
(Sharon), Ron Segarini (Ruth), and devoted daughter Judy Graviette (Jim). 
Loving grandmother to Tiffany Steinbaugh (Mike), Scott Graviette (Heidi), Chris 
Segarini and Rochelle Segarini. Beloved four month old great grandson, Mike 
Steinbaugh, Jr.
A Vigil Service will be held on 
Sunday, August 1, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial 
Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 
held Monday, August 2, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 3847 
N. Sutter Street, Stockton, CA. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 1, 2004 
from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel.
Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church or to a 
charity of choice.
