Bertha Mae McGee 
May 31, 1929 - July 24, 2004



God called Bertha Mae McGee home on July 24, 2004. "Bert" was born on May 31, 
1929. She was the loving mother of Melva Doyle-Thicklin, (Earnest), Brenda 
Remaker (Richard), Glenda Thompson (Derek), all of Stockton, and Valerie Scott 
of Houston, TX. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight 
great grandchildren and host of relatives and friends. 
Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, August 1, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 
p.m. at Jesse E. Cooley, Jr., Funeral Home, 640 N. California St. Services will 
be held Monday, August 2, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at New Greater Love COGIC, 427 
East Fremont St., Stockton, followed by burial at Stockton Rural Cemetery.
