Lorraine "Ann" Lackey 
January 20, 1929 - July 26, 2004



Lorraine "Ann" Lackey, 75 of Stockton, passed away at home surrounded by her 
family on Monday, July 26, 2004. Lorraine was born on January 20, 1929 in New 
Haven, CT and moved to Stockton as a young woman in the early 1950's. She was 
preceded in death by her beloved husband and the love of her life, Joe Lackey. 
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Mary Catherine 
Crowley. Ann was a nurse at Dameron Hospital and a Psychiatric Technician at 
the Stockton State Hospital for over 35 years, retiring in 1984.
Her great joy was her family. Her favorite pastime was watching her teams 
(Giants and 49ers) win and she hosted many Super Bowl parties at her home.
She was the beloved and devoted mother of Larry and Janet Chouinard of KY, Dan 
Chouinard, Dovie and Mike McCusker, Larry and Susan Lackey and Jim Lackey all 
of Stockton. She was the cherished grandmother of Shannon and Mark Davis of ID, 
Kellie Chouinard of San Francisco, Aimee Nolen of Sacramento, Ryan and Chantel 
Chouinard of OH, Nicolle Lackey, Lori Robinson both of Stockton Tracci and Jeff 
Dare of Pleasanton and the late Michael Chouinard. She was the adored great-
grandmother of Alex and Isabella Nolen, Makalia and Dajia Robinson, Matthew 
Chouinard and Jeb Davis. Ann was and always will be the heart and soul of her 
family and will be deeply missed by all. 
Memorial services Monday, August 1, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel 
at Cherokee Memorial Park. Committal at Cherokee Memorial Park. Memorial 
contributions to Hospice of San Joaquin, 2609 E. Hammer Ln., Stockton.
