Christopher M. Prato 
Feb. 15, 1953 - July 26, 2004

After battling a series of illnesses for the last year, Christopher M. Prato, 
51, passed away Monday, July 26, 2004 at Redlands Community Hospital. He was 
born February 15, 1953 in Stockton, CA, where he was raised and graduated from 
Franklin High School as valedictorian. He was the General Manager of San 
Joaquin Co. Employees Assoc. for 14 years, then worked as the Director of 
CIPELC and Lobbyist in Sacramento for 2 years. He then moved to southern 
California to become the General Manager of San Bernardino Public Employees 
Assoc. for the last 10 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Prato. Survived by his wife, 
Debra Prato; sons, Stewart, Joel and Christopher Prato; his mother, Ginette 
Prato Daft and stepfather, Ed Daft; in-laws, Joyce and Del Clayton; brothers, 
Michael and sister-in-law Renee Prato and Jon and sister-in-law, Bonnie Prato 
and sister, Dorothy Panella and brother-in-law, Bob Panella.
A mass will be held on Friday, August 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's 
Church on Ashley Lane in Stockton.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Loma Linda University Medical 
Center, Advancement Office, P.O. Box 2000, Room A607, Loma Linda, CA 92354, 
Kidney Transplant Unit in memory of Christopher Prato or American Kidney Fund, 
6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
