Nicanor "Nick" P. Moquite, 71, of Stockton passed away Thursday, June 24, 2004. 
Nicanor was born June 3, 1933. He was a veteran of the United States Army. 
Nicanor was the beloved brother of Lillian Canete of Stockton, and the late Rex 
Moquite. Loving son of the late Dominador and Nativdad Moquite. Dear uncle of 
Julian Canete III, Ida Canete-Farris, Tony Canete, Trena Canete, Desi Canete-
Boller and Mishele Faamausilli, all of Stockton. Cousin of Virginia Melear of 
Stockton, and Simon Zambra Jr., of Salinas. Great uncle of numerous nieces and 
nephews.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services: Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 10:00 
a.m. from the Chapel of the Palms Funeral Home, 303 S. Californai St., 
Stockton, thence to St. Luke's Church for Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 
a.m. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 6:00 in the Mortuary Chapel. 
Visitation will be Tuesday, 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 
7:00 p.m. Commital at San Joaquin Cemetery.
