Vernon Fawcett 
November 19, 1920 - July 31, 2004



Vernon Fawcett, 83, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2004. He was born November 
19, 1920 in Lodi, CA. He is survived by his dear wife of 64 years, June Fawcett 
of Stockton. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Lindscheid. Loving 
father to Wesley F. Porter of Stockton, beloved father-in-law to Edmund 
Lindscheid. Adored grandfather of Randy, Lori and Michael Lindscheid, and Colby 
and Caleb Porter. Stationed in England, Vernon served with the U.S. 8th Air 
Force in WWII. Vernon worked for Eagle Ford for 27 years as assistant service 
manager. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman and an all star football 
player for the Lodi Flames. 
A Service will be held at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Harding Way and 
Cemetery Lane, Stockton, CA 95204 at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2004. 
No visitation. Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
