Born September 18, 1939 in Ogden, UT to Maurice and Lula Miller Summers. She married Raymond Leroy Duke in Ogden on June 6, 1958. Sharon and Ray recently returned to Utah after spending 39 years in the Stockton area. She was an active member of the LDS church serving as Primary President and Relief Society Chorister, as well as in many other church callings. In Stockton, she was employed by Spring Anaesthesia for 20 years as a billing clerk. Sharon is survived by her husband, Ray and 5 children, Julie Rosso of Stockton, Jim Duke of West Jordan, UT, Kenneth and Sherry Duke of Stockton, Steven and Audrey Duke of Turlock, Peggy and Jamie Kemp also of Turlock; a sister and brother, JoAnn Johnson and Gerald Summers both of Utah; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Visitation will be held Friday, August 6, 2004, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7030 N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA with a Funeral Service immediately following at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel, 7030 N. El Dorado St., Stockton. A Visitation will also be held Saturday, August 7, 2004, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Wallace-Martin Funeral Home, 520 N. Sutter St., Stockton, CA. The Burial with Graveside Services are Monday, August 9, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, CA with a luncheon to follow at the LDS Chapel at 7030 N. El Dorado Street.
