Richard F. James 
August 31, 1924 - August 3, 2004



Richard F. James, 79, of Stockton, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 
his home. Born August 31, 1924 in Camden, N.J., he served for many years in the 
Merchant Marines, then in the construction field. For 25 years he was a fireman 
with the then Country Club Fire Department. He was a resident of Stockton for 
59 years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Goldie M. James, of Stockton. Father of 
Carleen (Bill) Lund, of Stockton, Dick (Ann) James, of San Andreas, Terry 
(Irene) Baker, of UT, Randy (Martha) Baker, of ID and Kelly James, of Tustin, 
CA. Grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 2. Brother of Rodney James, of NJ 
and Irma Walsh, of LA.
At his request no services will be held. Entombment in Sierra View Mausoleum in 
Cherokee Memorial Park.
