Born on November 16, 1928, in Budapest, Hungary, she came to the United States in 1956, moving to Lodi with her family in 1977. She became well- known throughout the area for her fabulous Hungarian cooking, which she served with pride at her 3 family-owned restaurants. They were the Acampo Inn during the early 80's, followed by Bit of Budapest in Stockton, then in the 90's Paprika in Lodi. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, Carl F. Lehner, of Stockton; her daughter, Violet Lehner, of Stockton; and her son, Carl P. (Andrea) Lehner, of Stockton. Grandmother of Ryan and Julia. Elizabeth will be remembered and appreciated by all who knew her for her graciousness, warmth and loving hospitality. Friends are invited to attend graveside services on Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at 1 p.m. in Cherokee Memorial Park. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
