Hirako (Katie) Brown 
August 10, 1919 - August 2, 2004



Hirako Kawaji (Katie) Brown, 84, was born August 10, 1919. A loving wife, 
artist, member of Stockton Art League, Delta Watercolor Society, Photo-grapher, 
Advisor and Housewife, was called away on August 2, 2004. She was preceded in 
death by her loving husband, Francis L. Brown. 
She is survived by, Sally, Michael, Ronald, Roger, Nancy, John Hurick, her 
nieces and nephews, in Japan and most of all many friends here in Stockton.
Memorial Service, 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at DeYoung Chapel, 
601 California St., Stockton, 209-466-8075. There will be an informal 
celebration of her life at her home after the Memorial Service.
