Bartolo O. Sanchez 
August 24, 1910 - August 7, 2004



Bartolo Sanchez, 93, was born August 24, 1910, in Tampico Tamaulipas, Mexico. 
He died in a Stockton hospital on Saturday, August 7, 2004. He retired from 
Western Lumber Company and enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family 
and friends. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 69 years, Angelina N. Sanchez. 
Father of Elisa (Henry) Garduno, Santiago (Ernestine Lindsey) Sanchez, Nora 
Hilda (Inocente) Rodriguez and Maria Virginia (Don) Smith, all of Stockton. 
Brother of Juan G. Sanchez of Mexico; brother-in-law of Inez Soto de Sanchez of 
Mexico and uncle of numerous nephews and nieces, all of Mexico. Survived by 
great- grand nephew, Benito Vega and his family of Stockton. Grandfather of 11; 
great-grandfather of 18 and great-great-grandfather of 2 with one on the way.
He will be remembered for his loving ways, his kindness and great love for his 
family, his faith in God and appreciation of life.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary Service Tuesday, August 10, 
2004 at 6:30 p.m. with visitation 1:00-7:00 p.m., at Cano Funeral Home, 2164 E. 
Charter Way, Stockton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 11, 
9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 203 E. Washington, Stockton. 
Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Harding Way and Cemetery Ln., 
Stockton.
