Marta Dinelli 
January 1, 1926 - August 10, 2004



Marta Dinelli passed away in Stockton on Tuesday, August 10, 2004. She was 78 
years old. Marta was born January 1, 1926. She lived in Thornton for 57 years. 
She was a homemaker for 23 years and after her husband died she worked in a 
cannery. She was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation Society. Marta was 
preceded in death by her husband of 23 years Salvatore Dinelli.
She is survived by her children Sal A. Dinelli of Thornton and Mary Ann Cano of 
Stockton. Sister Assuntina Giovacchini and brother Ercole Marchi both of Italy 
and 5 grandsons. 
There will be a Funeral Service on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. The 
Service will take place at the Cathedral Annunciation, 425 W. Magnolia, 
Stockton, CA. There will be a visitation Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
The visitation will take place at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 
Industrial Way, Lodi, CA. There will be a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. following 
visitation. The Rosary will take place at the Evergreen Chapel Cherokee 
Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and E. Harney Lane, Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home 
in charge of arrangements.
