DeeAnna Marie Ortega, 36, a native of Nevada passed away Tuesday, August 10, 
2004 in Stockton. Born February 25, 1968. Survived by companion Ruben Recio 
of Stockton. Loving mother of Amber Ortega, Ruben Recio Jr., Nico Recio, and 
Angelica Recio all of Stockton. Dear daughter of Jake and Gloria Ortega of New 
Mexico. Sister of Walter Ortega of New Mexico and the late Andrew Ortega. 
Granddaughter of Jake and Judy Ortega of Stockton, and Trudy Manzanares of New 
Mexico. Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral Services Tuesday, 
August 17, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Palms Funeral Home, 303 S. 
California St., Stockton thence to St. Gertrudes Church for Mass of Christian 
Burial at 9:30 a.m. A Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the 
Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, 
10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Committal at San Joaquin Cemetery.
