Ronald Edward Torres, 47, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2004 in El Paso, 
Texas. He was born on January 9, 1957 in French Camp, California. 
Ronald served in the United States Marine Corps from 1976 - 1977. 
Ronald was the beloved husband of Judy Torres of El Paso, Texas; loving son of 
John and Esther Torres of Stockton; father of Ronald Torres, Jr. of Stockton, 
Jacob Valadez and Daniel Torres of El Paso, Texas. Dear brother of John Torres, 
III of Brentwood, Valerie Torres and Yvette Torres of Stockton; uncle of Tim 
Ybarra, Jr., Shanna Torres, Victor Zuniga, Jr. all of Stockton, Heather Torres 
of Redding and Chelsea Torres of Brentwood; great uncle of Timothy Ybarra III 
of Stockton. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends survive him. 
Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 15, 2004, 
Noon to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, August 16, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Family and 
friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 
N. California St., Stockton on Monday, August 16, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George's Catholic Church, 120 W. 5th 
St., Stockton on Tuesday, August 17, at 9:30 a.m. Committal: San Joaquin 
Catholic Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the San Joaquin Chapter American Diabetes 
Association, 1524 McHenry Ave., Suite 210, Modesto, CA 95250-4568.
