Richard Robert Hayes 
April 22, 1938 - August 11, 2004



Richard Robert Hayes, 66, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2004. He was 
born April 22, 1938 in Gouverneur, NY and then moved with his parents in 1951 
to Sacramento, CA. He graduated from El Camino High School, Sacramento. He was 
in the United States Navy from 1956 - 1959 with honorable discharge. He worked 
in the retail clerks industry for 20 years until he retired in 1979. He was 
compassionate, loving and kind, and respected by many. 
Survived by son, Scott Robert Hayes of Galt, CA; daughter, Lori Dora Eldred of 
Ada, OK; daughter-in-law, Sarah Hayes of Galt; son-in-law, Russell Eldred of 
Ada, OK. He had 8 grandchildren, 4 boys, Travis Earl Eldred, Jonathon Robert 
Hayes, Joshua Paul Hayes, Jeremy Scott Hayes, and 4 girls, Kristina Diane 
Eldred, Tammi Jo Eldred, Amanda Lee Eldred, and Melissa Eldred.
No Services per his request. Committal: East Lawn Memorial Park, Sacramento, 
CA.
