Marion Esther Cosens 
Feb. 1, 1929 - Aug. 12, 2004



Marion Esther Cosens, 75, of Stockton, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2004. 
Marion was born to George and Safrona Rainy in Wheaten, Minn., on February 1, 
1929, but always celebrated on February 2, Groundhog Day. She moved to Stockton 
as a teenager. She worked for Pac Bell for over 36 years. She also served as a 
Pink Lady at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a proud member of Calvary First 
Assembly of God in Stockton. 
Preceded in death by her two brothers: Gene and Merwin Rainey, and sister, 
Bernice Altheide. Survived by her loving husband, Glenn Cosens and son Glenn 
Cosens, fiance Janet Rios, son Brad and Selina Cosens and daughter-in-law, Joan 
Cosens. Grandchildren: Crystine (Sissy), Robert, James, Cassie, Freddie, 
Angelique, Isabella, Jennifer, Jackie, Steven, Beth, Jaime and Jody. Great-
grandchildren: Joanni, Amy, Toni, Nick, Sara, Tyler, Alex, and Deja.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at 
Calvary First Assembly of God at 8407 Kelley Dr., in Stockton. Donations in 
lieu of flowers to Royal Rangers at Calvary First Assembly of God, 8407 Kelley 
Dr., Stockton, CA 95209.
