Helen Stefanac 
January 31, 1914 - July 18, 2004



Helen Stefanac, 90, was born in Dresnick, Crotia on January 31, 1914 and passed 
away Sunday, July 18, 2004 in Stockton, CA. She was a long time resident 
of Glendale. Helen's passion for cooking expressed itself throughout her 
career, first as a demonstration cook for LA Water & Power and then as a recipe 
tester for the Food Section of the L.A. Times. 
Mrs. Stefanac is survived by her loving husband, Victor. She was the adopted 
grandmother to the children of her nephew, Matt and Ruth Stefanac: Dr. Susan 
and Justin Laubach of New York City, Lisa Stefanac of Cambridge, Mass., Michael 
Stefanac of Stockton, Charles Stefanac of San Francicso and Merete Sandstad 
of Oslo, Norway; and numerous nieces and nephews both in her Crotian homeland 
and throughout the USA. 
A Celebration of Helen's life will be held at St. Catherines Chapel, OCW, in 
Stockton on August 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are cordially 
invited. 
Memorials may be sent to the Charity of your choice.
