Anthony Cuevas 
Dec. 23, 1936 - Aug. 17, 2004 



Anthony Cuevas, 67, passed 
away on Tuesday, August 17, 2004. He was born on December 23, 1936 in French 
Camp, CA. Anthony was a lifelong Stockton resident. He retired after 35 years 
as a Marine clerk with ILWU Local #34. Anthony enjoyed fellowship with many 
friends, his family and home. Anthony worked with his hands on many projects 
remodeling and landscaping. Anthony was known for his loving and generous heart 
and would share of his time and resources for all his friends and family. 
Anthony was the beloved husband of Diane Cuevas; son of the late Exiquio and 
Dolores Cuevas. 
Loving father of Marc Cuevas, Michael Cuevas; step-father of Rhea Lopez and Kim 
McCutcheon; grandfather of Isaac Cuevas and 9 step-grandchildren; dear brother 
of Ralph Cuevas, Alfred Cuevas, Louis Cuevas, Aurora De La Torre, Tino Cuevas 
and Irene Garcia. Numerous nieces and nephews survive him.
A Vigil Service will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., 
Stockton on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. At a later date, a Memorial 
Service will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 
5:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 
23, 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. 
Committal: Private.
