Mavis L. Van Benthusen Livermore 
March 6, 1934 - August 21, 2004



Mavis L. Van Benthusen Livermore, 70, of Stockton, passed away Saturday, August 
21, 2004 in a local hospital. She was born to C.T. and Gertrude Van Benthusen 
on March 6, 1934, near Adrian, Missouri. She became a Christian in early 
childhood and traveled with a gospel singing group that included her sisters.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Livermore. She is survived by 
her daughter, Cynthia D. Jones of Valley Springs; two grandchildren, Bo T. and 
Alexis D. Jones and five sisters, Betty Van Benthusen, Bonnie Dockery, Vonda 
Brandt, Thelma Kokousis and Shirley Harper.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the 
chapel of Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi. 
Committal will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 
Wednesday, 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the 
funeral home.
