Jane Weichold 
June 11, 1925 - August 23, 2004



Jane went home to the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2004. She was born on June 11, 
1925 in Waukesha, Wisconsin and a resident of Stockton since 1947. She was a 
longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church. She died at home with her husband, 
Walter, at her side. Jane was employed as a bus driver for Stockton Unified 
School and later sold real estate. She had many interests in life, one of them 
was playing her accordion and at 57 she took up karate. Her love of music was 
shown through her happy heart. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing 
for many years. Jane was always eager for a cup of coffee and a great 
conversation. Her devotion to her husband and children has left a lasting 
impression on family and friends. Jane will be dearly missed by her husband of 
29 years, Walter; her beloved sons, Bruce Wade and daughter-in-law, Sondra and 
David Wade and daughter-in-law, Lisa; her stepson, Mark Weichold and daughter-
in-law, Allie; brother-in-law, Roy Weichold and sister-in-law, Barbra, and her 
two grandsons, Justin and Garrett Wade. 
Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 11:00 
a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 444 N. American Street, Stockton, CA. No 
visitation. Private committal.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 2609 E. 
Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA 95210-4222.
