John Elliott Gabrian 
January 24, 1917 - August 22, 2004



John Elliott Gabrian, 87, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2004. He was born 
January 24, 1917 in Red Lodge, Montana. John was the Owner/Operator of Blvd. 
Automotive before retiring here in Stockton. Gabe served in the U.S. Army and 
had a great passion for astronomy. He belonged to many organizations 
such as the U.S. Power Squadron, Stockton Rotary, Hub City Sam's of Stockton, 
Past president of the Amblers Club, Tuxedo Country Club Fire District, Mayfair 
Christian Church, Board of the Stockton Astronomy Club, and a member of St. 
Bernadette's Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary 
Gabrian. Beloved husband of Dorothy Gabrian of Stockton; father of Frank 
Gabrian of San Diego, Cecelie Carroll of Conn, Michael Gabrian of Ark; 
stepfather of Robert Wade and wife Michele, and Harold Wade and wife, Jenny. 
Loving grandfather of 4 and 5 great; step grandfather of 7 and 1 great. Brother 
of Lud Gabrian, Frank Gabrian, Gus Gabrian. 
A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2004 at St. 
Bernadette's Catholic Church, 2455 Country Club Blvd., Stockton, CA. 
Visitation: Thursday, August 26, 2004, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. 
Private 
committal.
