He was born October 30, 1946, in Hackensack, New Jersey. His family moved to Whittier, California in the early 1960's. Andrew was a Sergeant in the United States Marines, serving two tours in Vietnam. He later married Kristine Blaskey in 1974. Andrew earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California Poly State University - San Luis Obispo. After graduation, Andrew, wife Kristine, and new born son Michael, moved to Manchester, Pennsylvania, where his daughter Dana was born. In 1995, his family moved to Lodi, California. He worked as an engineer in the refrigeration industry for 19 years and was a member of the Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA). He was a life member of the VFW Post 9009 in Lockeford, California. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America and had a love for cooking and collected teddy bears. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Kris; son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Cynthia; daughter, Dana. He is also survived by his two sisters: Roslyn Kerneen, Kathy Hughes. He leaves behind many other family members and friends. Visitation on Sunday, August 29, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, near Beckman Rd., Lodi. The Graveside Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Lane. Chaplain Bill Sherrill will officiate, and Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Ed Stewart Post No. 83 of Stockton.
