Peggy Okazaki 
Peggy Yachiyo Okazaki, 77, of Lodi, died Aug. 20 after a brief illness. She was 
born Aug. 10, 1928, in Stockton

Mrs. Okazaki attended elementary school, high school and college in Japan. She 
lived in Stockton before moving to Lodi. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and 
cooking. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hido Okazaki.

A private memorial service was held on Saturday at the Buddhist Church of Lodi.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buddhist Church of Lodi, 23 N. 
Stockton St., Lodi, CA 95240.

Cherokee Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
