James L. Olson 
March 23, 1933 - March 8, 2005



James L. Olson, age 71 of Manteca, CA, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Doctor's 
Hospital in Manteca. He was born in Valley City, ND and lived in Manteca for 40 
years. He was employed as an Electrical Foreman at LOF for 20 years. He served 
in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. James enjoyed time with his 
grandchildren and playing with his dogs. He was an avid golfer and member of 
Valley League Golfers Assn. He will be deeply missed by all his family and 
friends.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, June Olson of Manteca; children, Karen 
Roberts and Barbara Taylor, both of Lathrop, David Compson of Stockton and 
Carol Nestorek of Manteca; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren 1 great-
great-granddaughter and sisters, Sharon Gilley of Stockton and Joann Dahl of 
Valley City, ND.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at Park 
View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca. No visitation. 
Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, Manteca.
