Ruben Ortega 
Ruben V. Ortega, 75, of Acampo, died May 7 in Stockton. He was born March 27, 
1930, in Mexico.

Mr. Ortega lived in Acampo for 37 years, and worked as a farm worker for 42 
years. 

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Flores Ortega, of Acampo; daughters, 
Yolanda Pantoja, of Lodi and Anna Marie Rios, of Stockton; sons, Guillermo 
Ortega, of Lodi, Jose Luis Ortega, of Stockton, and Robert Ortega, of Acampo; 
sisters, Rogelia, Maria, Carmen, Efrocina, and Lucia Ortega, all of Mexico; 
brothers, Amparo and Antonio Ortega, both of Mexico; 16 grandchildren and 12 
great-grandchildren.





Ruben Ortega
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 
215 W. Walnut Ave., Lodi. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today 
at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi. A rosary will 
follow at 7 p.m. today in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 
Highway 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
