Alice Rose Pensa

Nov. 5, 1930 — Jan. 23, 2006

A memorial service will be Friday for Alice Rose Pensa, 75, who died Monday at 
her Tracy home.

Born in Queens, N.Y., Mrs. Pensa lived in Tracy 11 years. She was a homemaker 
for 49 years and was a member of Widowed Persons Association of California and 
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, traveling and 
spending time with her friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with her 
grandchildren.

Mrs. Pensa is survived by her children, Carol Appleton of Tracy and Evie 
Demetriatus of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Alyssa and Jordan Appleton, both of 
Tracy, and Nicholaus Demetriatus of Las Vegas; and her sister, Lily Kruger of 
Tucson, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Oswald Pensa.

Friday’s memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. 
Highland Ave. Interment will be in Eastlawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson.
