A native of Trumann, Ark., Mrs. Peoples worked at H.J. Heinz Co. from 1950 to 1973. She was a member of Center of Hope, formerly the North Side Assembly of God. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She loved to go camping, fishing and also enjoyed playing games. Mrs. Peoples is survived by her husband of 68 years, Lilburn Henry Peoples of Tracy; children, Herbert Gene Peoples of Walnut Grove and Jimmie Wayne Peoples of Tracy; grandchildren, Jean Loree Windham of Reno, Nev., Rhonda Wukasinovich of Stockton, Bill Windham of Rocklin, Herb Peoples Jr. of Galt, Heather Peoples of Shasta, Staci Peoples of Alaska and Stephanie Peoples of Grants Pass, Ore.; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; siblings, Mary Hamby and Louise Medlock, both of Tahlequah, Okla. Tuesday’s graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. at Tracy Cemetery, 600 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W.
