Davine Pond 
Davine A. Pond, 42, of Galt, died Sept. 10 in a local hospital. She was born 
April 12, 1963, in San Francisco.

Ms. Pond worked as an emergency food coordinator for the Galt Community 
Concilio Helping Network for three years. She enjoyed collecting American 
Indian artifacts and other crafts. 

She is survived by her sons, Jeromy Smith, of Galt and Cory Smith, of 
Clarkston, Wash.; daughter, April Smith, of Turlock; and mother, Kathy Cook, of 
Sonora.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus 
Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 972 Vintage Oaks Ave.

Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
