Ruth Pullen
Ruth Alice Pullen, 83, of Galt, died Oct. 21 in a Sacramento hospital of 
natural causes. She was born Ruth Alice Bisbee on Nov. 24, 1921, in Dickins, 
Iowa.

Mrs. Pullen was raised on the family farm and then worked as a bookkeeper for 
Tuttle Popcorn Co. She moved to Galt in 1943 and then married Leon Pullen. She 
was a member of Galt Bible Church and then Big Valley Bible Church in Lodi. She 
enjoyed being the with people she met while working as an Avon sales lady in 
Galt. 

She is survived by her son, Steve Pullen, of Oregon; sister, Esther Helen 
Brown, of Iowa; two grandsons, one granddaughter and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard Loren Pullen in 
2000; daughter, Julie Hausauer in 1998; brother, George Bisbee in 1982; and 
grandson, Danny Hausauer in 1974.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Big Valley Bible Church 
on Poplar St. in Lodi. There will be no visitation and committal will be 
private at Galt Cemetery.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
