Rzetta Payne 
November 15, 1931 - April 7, 2005



Rzetta Payne passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005 after battling diabetes for 
37 years. She was the beloved wife and sweetheart for 53 years to James Payne; 
the loving mother of Gwen and Brad Ware, Mitch and Michelle Payne, Suezette and 
BJ Townsend and Nova Payne, all of Stockton and her youngest son, Douglas and 
Julia Payne of Port Crane, New York. She also survived by sisters, Melba Heiner 
and Velma Whitaker; her brothers, Jack, Jess, Tom and Tim Hale. She was a 
giving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS 
Church on El Dorado in Stockton.
