She was called home Friday, March 4, 2005 after a long and harsh illness. She was preceded in death by her two infant brothers; her parents and her husband, Oliver. She leaves behind a loving son, Albert; daughter-in-law, Lorraine; two grandchildren, Anne Marie and Elizabeth Rose and a sister, Agnes Hall of Sacramento. Rose attended Jefferson Elementary School and was a 1938 graduate of Stockton High School. Upon completing high school, she enrolled at Humphrey's School of Business, earning a two-year degree. She worked for Walter Galletti Real Estate, Bank of America, and in 1985, retired from Stockton Unified School District. Her interests and activities included gardening, needlepoint and stamp collecting. In the mid 60's, Rose was an active member of St. Gertrude's Mother's Club and president of the Parish Altar Society. A Vigil Service will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Cross Church, 18633 E. Front St., Linden, CA at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, San Joaquin Chapter, 1524 McHenry Ave., Ste. 210, Modesto, CA 95240-4658; Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California, P.O.
