He was born Dec. 25, 1914, in New York. Mr. Pinho served in the U.S. Army from 1942-46. He was employed by Supreme Dye Corporation as a machine operator for 15 years. He moved from New York to Florida in 1969, and then relocated to California in 1973, where he settled in Lodi in 1980. In 1986, he married Irene at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lodi. He was active in the Casa de Lodi, and Casa D Amigos, where he formerly served as president. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. He enjoyed working on clocks and being a handyman. George Pinho He is survived by his wife, Irene Pinho, of Lodi; son, George Pinho, Jr., of New York City, N.Y.; daughters, Jane Doran and Georgette Pinho, both of New York City, N.Y.; brothers, Clarence and John Pinho, of New York City, N.Y., and William Pinho, of Florida; step-sons, Michael Klug, of Nebraska, and Craig Heighton, of Georgia; step-daughters, Nancy Day, of Indiana, and Shanda Heightton, of Georgia; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Pinho; and son, James Doran. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church. There will be no visitation and committal will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2400 Oxford Way, Lodi, CA 95242.
