Rachel J. Quigley

Dec. 23, 1910 — Dec. 19, 2005

Services will be Wednesday for former Tracy resident Rachel Quigley, 94, who 
died Monday at Earlwood Care Center in Torrance.

Mrs. Quigley was born in Eureka Springs, Ark., and was a homemaker who lived 
with her husband in Tracy 24 years. She moved to Modesto and lived there from 
1974 to 2001, and had lived in Torrance since 2001. She was a member of the 
Davis Park Church of Christ in Modesto.

Mrs. Quigley is survived by her children, Bill Quigley of Austin, Texas and 
Karen Veysada of Manhattan Beach; and numerous grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Lester “Luck” Quigley.

Wednesday’s services will begin at 2 p.m. at Davis Park Church of Christ, 901 
W. Rumble Road, in Modesto. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 2 p.m. 
Wednesday. Internment will in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 900 S. Santa Fe 
Ave, in Hughson.
