Karolina Ritz
  Karolina Ritz, 86, of 532 E. Walnut St. died Saturday afternoon in a local 
hospital after an extended illness.
  Born in Russia, she came to Lehr, N.D. at the age of two years, and to Lodi 
in 1906.  She was married to Samuel Ritz in Lodi in 1908 and they moved to 
Canada where they stayed for 13 years before returning to Lodi in 1921.  Mr. 
Ritz died in 1963.
  She was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church of Lodi.
  She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Youngman, Mrs. Katherine 
Helmle and Mrs. Frieda Suess of Lodi, Mrs. Christina Ritz of Sacramento, and 
Mrs. Bertha Brooks of Pasadena; and one brother William Hildenbrand of Lodi.
  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Lodi 
Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Duncan officiating.
  Burial will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
  Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. today.
