Ruth Roberts
Ruth Lillian Roberts, 82, of Lodi, died Oct. 27 in Lodi. She was born June 11, 
1923, in Portland, Ore.

Mrs. Roberts lived in Mokelumne Hill and Chico before relocating to Lodi a year 
ago. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Miller's Groceries in Chico and was 
also a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, spending time on the computer, fishing 
and watching sports, especially golf and baseball. She was a member of the 
Congregational Church in Mokelumne Hill. 

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Giles, of Montana; sons, Robin Roberts, 
of San Andreas and Clarence "Cary" Roberts, of Galt; seven grandchildren and 
four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Roberts.

Private Services were held.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
