Ruth Mary Range 
January 9, 1924 - March 30, 2005



Ruth Mary Range of Stockton, CA age 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 
2005 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on January 9, 1924 in 
Lawrence, Mass., but was a Stockton resident for over 60 years. She was a 
devoted wife, mother and grandmother who openly adored her family and will be 
remembered by all for her wonderful smile and giving heart. Ruth most enjoyed 
spending time with her family, playing cards with friends and helping out at 
her church. She was the life and heart of any social gathering she attended.
Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Vern Range. She 
is survived by her children, Patricia Holmes and Jim Range, as well as eight 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. 
Paul's United Methodist Church, 2220 W. Alpine Ave., Stockton. Private 
committal to be held for the family. 
Donations may be made in Ruth's name to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or 
the charity of choice.
