She was born on January 3, 1954 in Pittsburgh, California and lived in Stockton for most of her life. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972. She received her RN degree in 1985, Bachelor's degree in 1993 and her Master's degree in 1999. She worked 26 years in the nursing field, as a Nurse, a Nurse Coordinator, and then a Nurse Manager at Dameron Hospital. She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and vacation bible school, and served on Parish Health Committees. Helping others was her true calling. She was instrumental in implementing the Reach for Recovery Program for cancer survivors sponsored by Dameron Hospital. She was also dedicated to the March of Dimes walkathons in the early 70's. She is a cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt,and friend. She radiated warmth, kindness and love to all the lives she touched and was an inspiration to all that came into contact with her. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Renwick; sons, Matthew and Joshua; daughter-in-law, Jacelyn Grifen; father, Ronald L. Raley and brother, Ronald L. Raley Jr. She is survived by many special nieces and nephews and her first grand-child, whose birth is expected in December of this year. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Wanda. Her capacity of love unconditionally and without hesitation were her greatest gifts. Her two biggest joys were her family and friends. Her absolute love for her husband and sons was awe-inspiring. Her love for her husband was unfathomable. The two were inseparable through sickness and in health. Her life of service and love of education is exemplified by her sons choices of professions. Matt is following in her footsteps into a nursing career, while Josh has taken the love of guiding people into the field of teaching. She also loved having fun. Especially her "Listen Honey" comedy sketches she performed for coworkers. She loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. She was creative, clever and a friend to everyone she met. Regardless of ones culture or background she was truly a kind soul. The love she gave to others will surely be missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Chris and Nick Arismendi and the entire staff of Dameron Hospital for their kindness and excellent care during Lynn's illness. Friends are invited to attend visitations from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street in Stockton and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22 at the church. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Chruch, March Lane at Claremont in Stockton, followed by a graveside committal service at Stockton Rural Cemetery.
