He was born in Stockton on January 25, 1946 where he lived his entire life. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964 where he stayed active with Booster and Alumni activities throughout his life. He was the former owner of Tuxedo, Tent and Awning, long time employee of All-West Container Company of South San Francisco and most recently had discovered his true passion as Operations Manager of The Stockton-Waterloo Gun and Bocci Club. Tom was a member of the Executive Club of Stockton and The Firehouse Gang. He loved sailboat racing and boating and was a member of the Golden Gate Yacht Club in San Francisco. Aside from his love of barbecuing and boating, he enjoyed football and coached the Sheriff's Team for the Bacon Bash for over 10 years and was active in the Pop Warner program. The family hopes friends will remember "Big Tom" as a caring and fun-loving individual. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Janet Wilson; his three children, Thomas Richmond Jr. (Andrea) of Hawaii, Lisa Richmond and Mark Richmond (Lisa), all of Stockton; sister, Thelma Doran (Joseph) of Nevada; grandchildren, Trellin McCoy, Riley and Ryan Richmond, all of Stockton and Devon and Finn Richmond of Hawaii; mother and father-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Joseph D Wilson; 3 nieces and 5 nephews and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and Charles Richmond. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his Life on Monday, April 11, 2005 at The Stockton-Waterloo Gun and Bocci Club from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association-Valley Lode at 1231 W.
